Employee engagement is important in the human resource management for the health industry. Engagement impacts the employee motivation for work and enhances leadership communication styles. A lack of engagement can impact the company economically by not adequately engaging employees with daily work and training opportunities. The purpose of engagement is the focusing on work-related task by focusing one’s energy in meaningful behavior at work, actively participating in meetings and productive conversations with colleagues and clients as well as others behaviors that serve the organizations goals and mission. Informal recruitment is social media networks such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. As well other forms of informal employee recruitment are employee referral and the organizations reputation. Formal employee recruitment is campus fairs posting on the Internet and outreach through professional conferences, associations, and publications. When an organization uses print media and the Internet it is low cost and reaches a much broader pool of candidates. It shows diversity and studies have indicated that the use of imagery and language should be sophisticated to make the right impressions on a candidate’s race, gender, ethnic identity and desire for power. It is suggested that the imagery be judiciously to display the differences in the organizational hierarchy. An example would be the depicting of African Americans in high positions do not change the perceptions of Caucasian but make an impact on African Americans. In contrast African American depicted in low-level positions have a more negative affect on them and shows no racial diversity at
