Social media has a huge impact on society. Society relies on social media for so many things like the news, entertainment, and information. The concept of integrity can be applied through social media in many ways, such as positive and negative. The negative often out ways the positive when it comes to social media, social media is often displayed in a negative way. People have become so depended on social media for everything. Society has this idea that they have to live up to social media. “Most fundamentally perhaps, it is because communications has a very ambiguous character in respect of the claims of “society” or, those made on behalf of the “public interest” (McQuil2).
