Healthy Eating Plan Comparison After doing the three day diet analysis I have realized how unhealthy my eating habits really are. There are some things I can do to improve my eating habits like eating healthier things like vegetables and fruit. I do enjoy eating the things I want even if it is not the healthiest for me. I love to socialize while eating, and hang out with family and friends, but I never took the time to realize that on my day to day eating habits that I don’t meet the two thousand daily calorie intake that I am supposed to consume for a healthy diet. Now that I have realized this I can correct it. I normally try to eat about a cup of fruit and vegetables a day but that is not enough as I have learned from taking this class. I need to consume a little more from each food group and add more protein to my diet as well and stop eating so many snacks and sweets. I also have learned that it …show more content…
I know I don’t eat nearly enough of these food groups. Dark and bright vegetables are really healthy was well. I have tried to cook cabbage and leafy greens, but it never turns out right and does not taste as good as my mothers. Hopefully I’ll get better at cooking it so I could have more of a variety when choosing what vegetable were going to have that day. I also learned that artificial sugars are not good for you. I use to think sweet and low was healthier for you but I was wrong. It also can lead to health problems if consumed on a regular basics.
After taking this nutrient class I now know the things I need to add to my diet and the things I need to eat less of. Just because it looks good does not mean it is healthy for you. I will continue to improve my eating habits and make better choices in choosing what foods to eat. I am very thankful I decided to take this class and other classes here at
