Unit 2 Lab 1.2

I plan to change my behavior by resolving to eat significantly less sugar than I currently do. On Lab 1.2, my nutrition score was two out of ten (2/10). I eat few fruits and vegetables, I never consider how many saturated or trans fats I consume and I eat copious amounts of sugar on a daily basis. The only reason I achieved a score of two is because I rarely skip meals, preferring to eat continuously. Despite these bad habits, I am not overweight. I weigh one hundred and twenty-one pounds (121 lbs.) and I have a BMI of 19.2 which puts me in the 27th percentile for my age. Making this change to my diet will give me a greater, more sustainable energy level and will help me to develop positive nutritional habits from a young age that will benefit me throughout my life. To help me accomplish this change, I …show more content…
On a normal weekday, I have quite a few random appointments that keep me from quickly accessing sugary foods. However, on weekends, I have far fewer responsibilities, watch significantly more television and it will be harder not to eat sugary snacks. On Mondays I am gone all day and have to pack a lunch for myself. It’s far easier to throw a bunch of sugary pre-packaged snacks into a lunch-bag than to put together a healthy lunch. Finally, when I get together with friends, we tend to eat large quantities of sugar throughout our time together, so it will be difficult to only choose one item to eat with them. However, all of these issues are simply matters of will power and perseverance. I know that if I truly want to make this change I will be able to overcome these difficulties. I can make sure we have good fruits and other snacks in the house on the weekends, wake up a few minutes early on Mondays so that I have enough time to make a healthy lunch, and I can bring extra snacks with me when I go to see my friends so that I will have something to eat if they get something

VSphere 5.5 has introduced vNUMA which allows the Guest OS to be aware that they are running on a NUMA (Non Uniform Memory Architecture) topology. In the past and currently the big issue was that EIT could not build virtual machines with CPUs that would span over multiple physical sockets as this would create performance issues and contention when requesting resources. When this occurs it will use its own physical socket memory as well as the socket it has being spanned across causing that its own NUMA-aware resource management features would become problematic causing performance issues. EIT had to make sure that vCPU did not exceed the physical socket and that it is kept in its own NUMA node. The problem that arose was to not build big virtual…

In regard to Lab 6.2 accepting leadership position for two organizations simultaneously was definitely a stressful event that impacted my life. I was the director programming for Black History Month and the director of Productions for the Florida Invitational Step Show. These events happen around the same time and I had people blowing up my phone and needing me 24/7. It was very stressful because I was also taking classes (one of which was the hardest class I had ever took). I became very stressed out.…

During the three-day diet analysis I found out that my diet lacks some important nutrients. Under the micronutrients bar graph I lack important vitamins, such as, vitamin A, B1, B2, D, E, and folate. A couple of these nutrients were close to the personal goal of 66% of the Recommended Dietary Allowance like vitamin B1, and B2. However, there were also a few vitamins that were lower than the Recommended Dietary Allowance, such as, vitamin A, D, E, and folate.…

On September 17 and 18 I recorded the various foods I consumed, during which I found out a lot about my eating habits. Though I could claim that these two days weren’t my healthiest of days, I still found patterns that I can identify as fairly consistent. Beginning with the optimistic side of things, I only overate the recommended intake of sugar by one gram on the first day of the analysis. Along the same lines, I had room to eat more sodium by the end of the first day. I made fairly good snack choices, aside from dessert, with such foods as peanut butter and fat-free pretzels.…

From what I have seen from my nutrient intake report, I definitely need to make major improvements in some areas of my diet. For starters, I missed the minimum calorie requirement for one week by over two-hundred and fifty calories. This is a major aspect of my diet that I want to change, because if I don’t feed my body with calories, vitamins, and minerals, I will not be able to increase my performance on the football field by any significant amount. If I want to increase my performance on the field, I need to include a wider variety of foods within my diet. One unhealthy dietary habit that I have developed since I have arrived here at Concordia, is that I more often than not eat chicken tenders and fries every day for lunch, and dinner.…

I try to make wise food choices but sometimes I get distracted when my friends or boyfriend want to go out to eat and I end up falling into a whole menu full of fat foods.…
