A news article was just posted online last week, and it talks about a man opened a live on Facebook, and showed how he killed an elder on Easter in Cleveland, Ohio. In this case, the reason of why he killed the elder is only for fun. Nowadays, firearms make the United States to be a special and powerful country in the world. Since most of people owned firearms for many reasons such as to hunt, to protect themselves, and to feel stronger, firearms have been an indispensable part of the United States. First, appropriate gun control can reduce the rate of murder. Guns are very useful for most of criminals because they can help the criminals to reach their goals quickly. Therefore, appropriate gun control can prevent the criminals from acquiring guns easily. Secondary, appropriate gun control can reduce the rate of suicide. Firearms have become the main tools for many suicides to end their lives in the United States, so appropriate gun control can prevent the suicides from obtaining guns so that it can reduce the rate of suicide. Eventually, appropriate gun control can make the school become safer. There are many of students carried a gun at least once to school, but most of them do not exactly know how to safely use guns. Therefore, appropriate gun control can reduce the potential security hazard in school. Firearms make America become a special country in the world, but it has caused many of problems in the society. Firearms are longer as a tool for people to hunt or to protect their family; they have become a major tool to end someone’s lives. There is always a risk of an innocent bystander being hit by a rogue bullet.
