I aspire to become a leader in Economics and with that desire in my heart, I seek admission in your prestigious university, where I know that my life will change and I will receive opportunities that I have dreamt for myself.
My interest in pursuing a career in Economics and Finance sparked at a very early age when in high school, I received honor from state governor for outstanding performance in Math and Economics on state level. I am eager to learn from renowned professors and to interact with leading financial wizards and economists. Masters in Economics at Rutgers University attracts me for its academic excellence, analytical skills, and the research oriented environment. I look forward to the research seminars and guided projects at the university which will be a huge learning experience for me as I will get to work with the eminent faculty members. This will aide my research skills and most certainly help me in my pursuit of long-term professional career in economics. Subjects like Financial Analysis, Financial Modeling, Econometrics, and Microeconomics will help me in gaining knowledge about creating financial models and its analysis. My wish of doing quantitative and qualitative research will also be aided by these subjects. Financial Management, Monetary Theory will help me in learning about managing capital and investment decisions. Combining courses of Financial Economics, Microeconomics, International Economics, and Econometrics will assist me in attaining my short term as well as my long term goals and therefore, the course structure of MA Economics is ideally suited for
