You get to questions the interworking of society and use what you learn to make informed and holistic choices. New York University is unique in the fact that it not only allows you these opportunities in the New York metro area, but around the world. Since childhood, I have been fascinated with the wonders of the natural world. This fascination manifested in to an adoration and appreciation for life sciences. NYU’s comprehensive biology program allows me the opportunity to gain a substantial and significant amount of knowledge while allowing me the freedom to peruse my other academic interest such as scientific inquiry and experimentation. NYU New York City provides undergraduate students ample opportunities engage in research. Scientific inquiry and experimentation is an integral part of learning biological science. It allows one to take what they have learned to advance themselves and give back to the scientific and general community. NYU leads in this area offering students ample opportunities to engage in such research through programs such as Research +. I admire this program because it allows students to collaborate with each other with the guidance of esteemed faculty. Students enrolled in this program are able to develop and conduct practical research projects reinforcing what has been learned and improving skills such as problem solving and. In addition to this, NYU New York City is located near some of the most esteemed scientific institutions such as the American Museum of Natural History and the Center for Genomics and Systems Biology at New York University; leaders in research and scientific curations. I appreciate the fact that NYU is a global institution of higher learning. Ample research opportunities and premier academic instruction will allow me to fulfill my goals as a student and contribute back to my college community.
