Letter To Girl's High

Improved Essays
To one, who receive this letter, Like many others, I, Tracy Wang, would like to attend Girl High for my high school years. I am a very persistent person who dreams of having a successful future. I strive to get good grades in all subjects, as demonstrated by my previous grades(straight A's). Working to get these grades were very difficult, I countered many obstacles in my way, but I never gave up on my goals. Many have said that there's no point because I'm a female, but I still feel optimistic that something magnificent can happen. I display the qualities of a good role model because I had no disciplinary record or detention in the past few years, and I lend a helping hand when others are in trouble. My reason for wanting to attend Girl's high is so I can accomplish what many of my family members haven't achieved, which is going to college. …show more content…

Dear, Point Pleasant Beach High School I would like to thank Beach's program for touring me around the school during the open house and Dr. Grosshandler for taking the time out of his day to discuss my possible future with Point Pleasant Beach and its amazing academic program. Beach has gained a reputation of producing intelligent students and sending them off to college. Being considered for a program with such a productive system brings a monumental amount of joy to me and my family. It has come to my knowledge that there is a limited amount of spots in the ENG 102 class for next semester. I am one of the best candidates to continue into ENG 102 and thrive in Ms. Laduca’s learning environment. Although I do not fear that I have not already earned my spot, I will proceed to justify my case. I have been an adroit student of Ms. LaDuca’s for the last year and a half; she knows exactly what kind of student I am. Since seventh grade, I have been an ebullient honors student in the top ten percent of the 2016 cohort and have not received any grades lower than an A. I always exceed expectations, put in 110% of my effort, and achieve and maintain excellent grades at the same time.…

“Ninety-nine percent of the failures come from people who have the habit of making excuses.” Due to the ever increasing amount of procrastinators in society, nothing gets done. This quote teaches that no matter what circumstance maybe, doesn’t give you a reason to give up on life. Making excuses is the death to all blessings that God wants to give us and we hold our own selves back by constantly pushing back the essentials of life.…

The basic facts that I have given in my general application are only the facts that have been written down and kept record of. They don’t tell you who I am as a person, nor do they tell you if I would be a good candidate for your school. Hopefully, in this personal testimony of mine, I would like to explain some of the reasons why you should consider me as a student that is right for your school. I would first like to start off saying that your school is at the top of my list, as well as many others. I know that I am a perfect candidate for FIT as I have learned many great things in high school and at the community college I attend that will benefit me on my journey as I go to transfer to a four year University of my choice.…

This is because of my near perfect attendance, highly praised behaviour and consistently good participation in learning. I feel that I could encourage other pupils to do the same and see the importance of good behaviour and the effect that their behaviour has on others. I feel that this is a vital quality to have as a Head Girl, or any leader in fact, as you are the person that everyone will look up to as an ambassador for the school. Another factor that makes me a brilliant role model is my hard work and determination, this is shown by the Finance GCSE that I achieved at the age of 12. Similarly, I have been described by my peers as an approachable, kind person who they feel comfortable talking to, this is shown by my winning of the ‘Student 's Student of the Year’ award.…
