Since the Earth began, its surface and atmosphere was continuously changing. The latest change in the Earth’s atmosphere is a significant one; scientists call it global climate change, or also known as global warming. The scientific definition of global climate change is a long-term change in the Earth’s climate due to an increase in the average atmospheric temperature. The two main reasons that people use for the global climate change are that it is the human species’ fault or it is a natural course of the environment. On one hand, if it were humans’ fault, it would be because of the amount of carbon deposited in the atmosphere due to their actions. On the other hand, if it is an environmental cycle, humans can do nothing to stop it. To put it briefly, global climate change is not a debate about whether or not it exists. It is a debate about whether it is the human species’ fault or if it is an effect of an environmental cycle. The evidence of global climate change is straightforward. The atmosphere’s level of carbon dioxide has increased dramatically to the point where it is causing the average temperature to rise because carbon dioxide holds in heat. For example, the latest measurement measured carbon dioxide at 400 parts per million. That may not appear like a large amount, only equating to 0.04%, but with the amount of carbon dioxide in the air, and it naturally holding in heat; it means that amount raises the global temperature. Furthermore, water on Earth’s surface…
