However, this is untrue because he did not target the audience, was bias and had weak writing. For example, at the end of the article Bennett said that raising a child should be woman and man not two men. Although there are horrible parts in this article he does make good points that people will understand. In the article states “Everything is front page, gay and homosexual," according to one psychologist who works with the schools. ‘Kids are jumping on it ... [counselors] are saying, 'What are we going to do with all these kids proclaiming they are bisexual or homosexual when we know they are not? '” (Bennett 410). This states that the article was bias and only worried on what was going to happen to the children, therefore this was not a very well put together article. “Against Gay Marriage” is unsuccessful with the way that it doesn 't get to the purpose of the article as it is offensive to the audience, it has a weak rebuttal, and is bias with his way of knowing.
