The author did answer the questions that I had. He gave great statistical information and qualitive information. The article is a little difficult to understand for that fact that he continuously repeats information. As an example, he repeatedly explained the meaning of what “marriage-equivalent legal benefits” were. The author doesn’t clearly state that he is either for or against same-sex marriage, however, throughout the entire article I detected subtle hints of bias towards same-sex marriage. The quantitative information was greatly used and it was presents though a little confusing. He presented this information in clusters with exceptions and limitations. The author get his information through many legal books and information given in articles. The author uses for the most part easy to understand verbal inputs; however, he does insert some complicated sentences to show the complexing of the
