Majority of the male teens of New Orleans valued the game of football, football was one of their favorite sports. They loved the game, they played the game with passion and aggression throughout their football careers. Football coaches gave the fatherless youth a father figure to rely on when support is needed. Love and relationships with longevity was created through the game of football. Football changed some of those guys lives forever. Some lives were affected positively and some lives were affected negatively. Once those guys realized football could possibly change their families lives, they made football the reality of their life. Brain injuries in football are serious on all levels of the game(Locker). Throughout the history of football the proper equipment to prevent potential head injuries elevated(Neuhauser). Serious head injuries have impacted former players and current players lives negatively(Locker). It has impacted who they are as a person also their families lives(Locker). Many deaths have occurred because of the violent level of the game and the head injuries a player suffer throughout their careers(Schwarz).The awareness on the professional level has grown over the past few years, but this is a situation where every level of the game has to be aware (Martin). Every person across the United States know how important the sport is to our country. Fans across the country whole life is revolved around football. Many children across America grew up having unconditional love for the sport. Knowing how much the sport means to the country, every organization that has a link to football must work to make the game safer. It has been reported that on the National and collegiate level the awareness has risen but the awareness on the lower levels of football remain steady (Jordan). Playing the sport can cause many changes to a human being brain (Locker). Even when players do not suffer a concussion or brain injury head collisions in football can cause changes within the brain (Locker). Basically a average tackle can cause changes within a human brain(Locker). Every player that has played the game should have known that before they gave consent to participate. A simple head collision can alter a brain, that type of information has to be told to every parent and participant of the sport.The brain helps your life function, it is essential that any type of change caused by a simple head collision in football is told to every participant before they play any type of football. Researchers conducted a memory test between forty two former professional football players (Neuhauser).Half of the players began to play contact football before they were twelve years old, The other half began to play after they were twelve years old (Neuhauser).The study proved that players who began playing earlier scored worse on all test measures, even after the researchers took into account the total number of years of football played and the age of the players at the time of the test (Neuhauser).It is evident that the
