Exploiting The Sherpas In Nepal

If the death of 16 people doesn’t stop a government from continuing what they are doing and not changing any laws to prevent any future incidents of their people then then doesn’t that sound unjust and should we not take a stand to change this? This is what’s being done to Sherpas in Nepal, they risk their own lives guiding tourists up Mount Everest but don’t get enough credit, money or respect for it. A sherpas job consists of lugging tourists’ gear, guiding them up the mountain, and clearing a pathway up the world’s highest mountain. In the year of 2014, sixteen Sherpas died due to an avalanche and the government didn’t even have enough respect to give the surviving sherpas time to mourn because they wanted to get back to guiding more tourists due to their disgusting greed. To begin with,the main safety concerns are that the Sherpas are expected to provide everything for the climbers, and provide unnecessary luxuries while trying to get them to the summit.
