In the novel “Inside Out & Back Again “writing by Thanhha Lai, is about a 10 year old girl named Ha that became a refugee.When a refugee flees their home they have to figure out what they are going to do,but in this case the dad was a marine so they had privileges.When refugees find a new home they have to learn the ways of those people, for example the in the book it states “Until you children master english you must think, do, wish for nothing else”.The reason why refugees feel inside out and back again is because they have to start all over. However, Ha felt inside out and back again when she left her house because of the war, when she felt unsafe and when she finally found a home she felt safe and had nothing to worry about anymore. Like Ha, her family and her had to leave Saigon because she had to be safe and when she felt back again is when her and her family reached Saigon (Thanhha Lai).
