Secretary and Administrative Assistant
Secretaries and assistants are always there when someone needs an extra hand with their work. One of the reasons I am interested in this career is because I like working with others and giving them a hand to be organized in their life or work place. Another reason I am interested in being a secretary or assistant is because I have always disliked being in the leading role. I like asking people to help me out or to do something for me but being in charge is not in my interest. These are the major things that an assistant is specialized in. Assistants and secretaries are what most of the staff relies on, for example the basic things like scheduling calendars, taking calls for the higher staff or simply taking notes of things for their employers. They are also needed to keep records and to help solve a problem among their company. I became aware when I investigated the business field, it seems like a good fit for me and I know it

Other responsibilities are answering phones and taking messages, they handle incoming mail and faxed files (“Secretaries and Administrative”). Sometimes assistants are required to do a little bookkeeping. If he/she is interested in this position a few benefits for them are applied. They have the ability to learn something new everyday and improve on many qualities. For example, they learn to communicate with different types of people and also learn new problem solving skills by working together with other staff members. Assistants also get new skills on how to be organized and work with a good result everyday. These few examples are why an administrative assistant job is perfect for someone like me, I like to meet and deal with new people and also be an organized
