Specifically, tax fraud lawyers use math in their everyday work. “Tax fraud lawyers need mathematical formulas to help look through mountains of financial numbers and process them into a clear-cut case.” (careertrend.com). Therefore, they will need a background in math and possibly accounting. Not only do tax fraud lawyers use math, copyright lawyers do as well. Formulas and a basic background in engineering are used to help their clients get a copyright on their product/invention. The most common math concept used are percentages. Lawyers will calculate the odds of them winning their case, moreover, divorce lawyers will use percentages to calculate how much each person will receive from the marriage.
