It is hard to think about living with ADHD. I am not sure how I could function in today’s society. ADHD has symptoms that deal with inattention, hyperactivity and impulsiveness. These symptoms affect how they pay attention, learn and live life. When a person has ADHD everything that they do in life affects them. Usually people that have ADHD have low self-esteem and emotional problems. If I had ADHD I do not think I would be able to participate in school or sports. Having ADHD can have multiple effects on a person. If I had ADHD one way that it could affect me would be the inability to focus. Not being able to focus would affect my ability to learn in school. Having this will affect my personality, if I cannot talk to people, how am I expected to make friends. If I talk too much and do not give anyone else time to talk why would anyone want to be my friend? Being social is a huge part of life that we use every day to communicate with people. Not being able to be social can only make a child become frustrated and angry. This could affect me in the future of being able to find a job, talking to people and much more. If I cannot communicate with others, how can I expect to learn new things and meet new people? If I am not able to be social that can affect the relationship that I have with others. It can affect the way that you show your love to others and therefore affect your family life. If I lack good communication skills then finding a job is going to be difficult. If I already have a job, I might feel like I am not worthy of the job or have the sense of underachieving. This may affect how you follow rules that you need to follow, meeting deadlines and being able to work a ten hour day. This will affect my home life when it comes to; paying bills, losing things, being late for work or on bills and not keeping up with credit
