Employment of market analyst is projected to grow 19% from 2014 to 2024 which is the greatest increase than any other occupation out there. Even though employees do not think market analysts are important to a business market analysts are a major key to businesses and employees wonder what role do they play because most employees think market analysts will not be able to help the business. Not only do market analysts study market conditions to examine potential sales of a product or service but also market analysts provide the companies with a chance to increase in sales and lower in costs. First classes that may help the employee succeed in the job are english, marketing, math, psychology, sociology, and computer classes because most of a marketing analysts job is consisted on computer or computer work. Second marketing analysts do not have to be majored in a specific area like marketing or business marketing analysts can major in statistics, math, and computer science and still be able to get employed in any business department. Third many jobs require a master’s degree in marketing or business some schools offer a marketing analyst program for future employees to get a degree or major in the marketing aspect instead of taking other marketing classes that may not be important. Most marketing analyst go for MBA’s for master positions at work because most employers that work at businesses did not get their MBA. The reason for the growth is because of the need for data and research to find out what customers want, need and also to measure the effectiveness of business strategies. Market Analysts provides companies with a chance to increase in sales of products or service and cut cost or expenses, use customer behavior to target their market for the demographic and increase in sales. Then market analysts let companies monitor customer satisfaction and get feedback on how to improve products and services by taking surveys and asking customers to fill out customer satisfaction surveys and see what they have to say about the product allowing companies be better than their competitors.
