Public Relations Coordinator
A PR coordinator applies the principles of marketing to the public image of not just their products and services, but also their brand and the company itself. That is, PR coordinators must maintain a positive public opinion through regulating the information that the public connects with the client. PR coordinators also work in concert with marketing and advertising departments to form an interdisciplinary support team. PR coordinators spend their time copying, editing, proofreading and revising a variety of communications that are released on different media platforms, such as radio, blogs and social media sites.
They design and launch both digital and traditional marketing campaigns. This involves the development of a marketing communications plan that includes goals, tactics and target budget.
