Employee Motivation Essay

Improved Essays
The best way to motivate your employees and build employee morale is to pay them a lot of money. Even better is to pay employees with excessive incentive laden bonuses in addition to a high fixed salary. If this is how you operate your Company, please contact me; I may be looking for work and I’m very hard working, but I need lots of ‘motivation’. As we all know, the catch to motivating your employees in this manner is that you, the business owner, chief executive, or manager, must use money right out of your or the Company’s pocket. Most Company’s don’t have the means or the rationale to do this, but there are plenty of ways to motivate your employees without spending a dime. Keep in mind that there is no best answer to the ageless conundrum of human motivation, but there are always options to consider that may work better than what you have tried in the past. Every Company and each employee is different, but with some thought and consideration, a spirited group of employees is right around the corner.

An empowered employee gains individual competence, confidence, and pride while giving loyalty and productivity to the Company.
-Production: Create a top to bottom work environment of efficiency, organization, and accountability resulting in higher productivity. An efficient, organized and productive work environment results in time well spent for employees and a feeling of something to ‘hang your hat on’ at the end of the day. An organized, accountable work environment promotes fairness and camaraderie while protecting against hostility and miscommunication. Efficient production promotes job satisfaction which comes full circle and further increases
