Imperialism was something that greatly affected the people in Southern Africa and Asia.
Imperialism was a strong impulse that their country was better than all others. Imperialism was like nationalism but taken too far. This made Europe go around and take over other countries like Southern Africa and Asia.
Imperialists are people who support imperialism. Imperialists wanted their country to expand and take over other countries to build an empire. Some imperialists went as far as treating other people like slaves and didn’t care what happened to them.
Cecil Rhodes is an imperialist who built a diamond mine and became very wealthy from it. He built an empire in South Africa.
