The imperialist powers saw imperialism as a good way to take over weaker areas for the benefit of themselves. In document 1 it states “Increase demands for goods, which would create more employment in the imperialist country”. This detail show that the imperialist powers would take over for their own personal benefit. As in the detail it shows how they took over to sell more goods in there country which would create more jobs allowing more employment in there countries. This is a major benefit for the country which would boost the country economy.
