Education is imperative and open doors for many opportunities in the future. There are many people that lack post secondary education. Some adults argue that they do not pursue higher education because of the cost of tuition. On the other hand, some argue that they do not believe that higher education is necessary and will not assist them in the long run. As a result, they find it difficult to obtain decent careers. It is emphasized that obtaining a college degree can significantly increase your success by having a steady career, increase your average annual income and assist with achieving financial freedom. All seniors in this High school rotated between school and work, two weeks at school and two weeks at work to acquire practical hands on training within their major. For example, a Cosmetology student would work two weeks at a hair salon to gain practical experience and go to class for two weeks. Once the four weeks are over, the rotation would start over again. Therefore, I want to incorporate that idea with my ideal learning experience. My ideal education experience is a Technical Vocational Career College. General Education classes are offered on-line for student that does not have the time to attend class. However, the classes required for their major will be on campus. Once the students have completed all General Education requirements, students will then have the opportunity to gain practical experience in their field of study, twice a week in a blended format. Additionally, this will be a regionally accredited public Technical College, offering Associates and Bachelor Degrees. The tuition will ultimately be free however; the students are required to volunteer for a total of five hundred hours in their field of study in order to graduate. Moreover, when Human Resources Specialists are reviewing applications, they are looking for experience. This volunteer opportunity is a requirement and this will assist the students in adding practical experience on their resume for future
