They are used in overall assessing of the control performance for the storage group facilities. The inventory measures, facility percentage that is experienced on specific products stock out, expected to be provided by an expected site, at any point, within defined time periods. It measures product availability over a period of time.
The distribution indicator measures the shipment arriving percentage for the estimated delivery set date for the defined time period. A late delivery might cause stock outs, for not only the receiving facility, but also throughout the in country network. It occasionally indicates the transportation problems that might be in the system, such as different terrains, that might indicate need for adjustment scheduling accordingly or an indication of the vehicle condition. It is applied to specific products and routes (Bai, 2012).

Supply chains together with the executives charges, managing them are highly under pressure. Supplies and information multiply flow as the compliance mandate. The supply chain also becomes costly, vulnerable and more complex. Its executives increasingly find it difficult responding to the challenges, but definitely more with the conventional supply chain that constructs and designs.
