Many times we are surprised by our own ignorance in regards to any particular thing. On which we have spoken out earlier, and we are not able to recognize our mistake to regard nor much less to modify what it said. All persons, groups and communities have a specific way of seeing the world. There are different ways of understanding the world, interact with their environment, of conceiving problems and respond to them. As well as, assigning value to resources and rules for the arrangement between members. So, each group has specific characteristics that make them different. Diversity goes beyond the psycho-biological and personal differences (Kemple, Harris & Lee, 2015). We can also refer it to the social, economic, cultural, generational, family, field and linguistic.
At the same time, diversity is a concept that goes beyond the educational integration. It is a principle of life, relationship, value and coexistence. Assuming the beginning of human diversity is respecting and accepting the other in which be free and independent, whereas a person with equal rights and possibilities to us. Having a bias is to pass a judgment on someone or something without really knowing. The prejudices are harmful to oneself and to the society, particularly because they are the largest source of discrimination against many people. In fact, one of the biggest obstacles for the optimal development of critical thinking in a person are their prejudices (Koppelman, 2014). Prejudices hinder self-reflection and self-criticism. In other words, prevents the individual is aware of the defects and weaknesses in their own beliefs, or convictions and of their assumptions about the world around us.
