We all have biases, whether it is conscious or unconscious. As a result of bias judgements, certain people can benefit and other people are penalized. Bias is often shown toward minority groups based on factors such as, class, gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, immigration status, and other diverse traits. Bias, prejudice, and discrimination all live under the same roof. They’re all an inclination toward one way of thinking, often based on how you were raised, what you were taught/saw, your experiences, and personal background. These judgements can cause make it hard for individuals to make friends, and build relationships.
