Difference Between Fixed And Growth Mindset

Growth Mindset No one is born smart; you have to exercise your brain in order to become smart. The difference between fixed and growth mindset is that people with a fixed mindset believe you either are or aren’t good at something based on your inherent nature because it is just who you are. However, people with a growth mindset believe anyone can be good at anything because your abilities are entirely due to your actions. According to Carol Dweck these two different mindsets lead to very different behaviors and results. I believe that I have a growth mindset because of what I learned as a child, what I learned in school, and how I treat people. I see that my growth mindset comes from the way I act. In addition, I always see myself as being smarter than people who are my age. Upon analysis of when I was younger, I was always thinking, and acting older than what my age was. This evidence was confirmed that when I was eight years old, and my mom taught me how to clean the house and help her with the cooking. This illustrated from my experience throughout my life. By evaluating being selfish, I learned how to use a growth mindset to not be cruel to people, and think about how their reaction will be if I do something selfish or wrong to them. This is important because I always like to help people who need help, and never think of making fun of them. For example, if you don’t have a growth mindset, you don’t care about, or understand other people’s feelings. This is also important because understanding other people’s feelings need people who have a growth mindset. All in all, never try to humiliate people no matter what because everyone has something wrong with themselves because God didn’t create people all
