When a teacher dropped a copy of the history final exam, Good Guy had to decide whether or not he would look at the test, or if he would give the test to one of his peers. Good Guy is pressured by the Bully, the Rich Kid, and the Cute Girl to give them the copy of the history final exam. The Bully pressures Good Guy through force. The Bully threatens to throw Good Guy into a locker if he does not give him the copy of the history exam. The Rich Kid pressures Good Guy with money. The Rich Kid offers the Good Guy money for the copy of the test. The Cute Girl pressures Good guy through changing her attitude. The Cute Girl speaks to Good Guy with an enticing voice and flutters her eyelashes to try to get Good Guy to give her the test. When that does not work the Cute Girl promises to be Good Guy’s date to all the school dances for the rest of the year. Each of the Good Guy’s peers receive the same answer, “I can’t give it to you! I a honorable and wholesome and true, and I want to go to COLLEGE!”. The Good Guy chooses to give the test back to the teacher instead of giving it to any of his peers. Once Good Guy gives the test back to the teacher he has to make another decision. The teacher asks Good Guy if he looked at any of the test and Good Guy has to decide whether he should tell the truth to the teacher. Kittredge’s decision was more challenging to make than Good Guy’s decision because Mrs. Kittredge’s decision affected the life of her entire family and the Davis family. Mrs. Kittredge’s choice to call Richard’s parents, changed the way each character felt about one another. Richard and Jenna developed a new view on their fathers and the Davis and Kittredge families developed new feelings towards one another. Good Guy’s decision was not influential in multiple people's’ live. His decision did not affect any of the other character negatively/positively. Good Guy choosing to not give the copy of the history exam to his peers, only benefited himself, by strengthening his morals. When analyzing the decision she had to make Mrs. Kittredge had to consider each person that was going to be affected by the choice she made. Good Guy did not have to take into consideration the interests of any of his peers when he made his decision. Good Guy’s decision was based only upon his personal morals. Since Mrs. Kittredge’s decision affected multiple people and Good Guy’s decision only affected one person I believe that Mrs. Kittredge’s decision was more difficult to
