He didn’t know how long he had been running-a few minutes? An hour?-or where he was going, but he did know that tears were streaming down his face and sweat was making his arms burn.
He slowed down after a few more minutes, breathing heavily-again, he didn’t know why-and found himself in front of an enormous tree.
He and Found called it Sorrow Tree because it was where they would go whenever they were sad.
Lost tended to go there a lot, but Found didn’t need to know that.
Hand pressed to the trunk, Lost walked around the tree until he found an engraving in the wood. Lost + Found-Sorrow Tree, it read. Lost traced the words with a finger before sliding to the ground, his back pressed up against the trunk.

Lost held back a wince as his arms started to sting again, the pain no longer dulled by the rush of adrenaline. Luckily Found didn’t notice his look of slight discomfort; Lost was embarrassed enough that his friend had to see him like this. Why, he didn’t know.
Found let go of Lost, and paused before speaking again. “Do you want to go now?” he asked. Lost nodded quickly. The darkness was starting to get to him again. As they set off, Found grabbed Lost's hand, and he blushed. For once, he was grateful for the darkness.

However, Lost couldn't sleep. Too much had happened that day, and even though he knew he was inside and Found was by him, he was still paranoid. He tossed and turned for a few minutes-or hours? Whatever.
“F-Found…? he whispered loudly. Found’s breathing faltered for a second then resumed its steady rhythm. By now, Lost’s ears were ringing and his chest was tight. It was getting a little hard to breathe. He leaned over the edge of the bed and gently shook Found. “Found, p-please wake up…” After a few seconds, Found stirred and opened his eyes, squinting up at Lost. “Yeah…?” he asked sleepily, propping himself up with one arm.
Lost hesitated for a second, almost too embarrassed to admit his concerns. “Umm…” he pulled the blankets over his head. C-could you… sleepupherewithme?” Silence filled the room again until Found’s voice sliced through. “Oh. Oh, Lost, I’m sorry.” The bed dipped slightly as Found got in next to him. Lost hesitantly scooted over to him until Found suddenly threw an arm over him and pulled him closer. A deep blush spread across Lost’s face and his body heated
