Someone once said, “Spending today complaining about yesterday won’t make tomorrow any better.” Some say that things only get worse before they get better, but as others say things only get worse. Speak is a meaningful story that teaches a valuable lesson for teenagers and people every where: Everything gets better overtime. In Speak the author uses conflict to teach people that you may go through hard times, but it will always be okay in the end. Melinda goes through many conflicts in the story.
