1. How does the community promote the growth of its members?
What educational programs are provided, eg, preschool, prekindergarten, kindergarten through 12th grade, and postsecondary education?
• Head Start is a preschool in North Judson, offers center-based preschool education and parent involvement activities to encourage parents to assume an active role and partner with parents to monitor the children 's health, nutritional, dental needs and developmental progress (Head Start). North Judson has one elementary school, one middle school, and one high school. This school system is unique because North Judson combined schools with the town of San Pierre to create the North Judson-San Pierre School District. Children from both North Judson and San Pierre attend these schools. North Judson-San Pierre Elementary School serves students in grades kindergarten to fifth grade. North Judson-San Pierre Middle School serves students in sixth to eighth grade. North Judson-San Pierre High School serves students in ninth to twelfth grade. They are all located in North Judson. All three schools are blocked together upon entering North Judson. North Judson has one private school, St. Peter Lutheran School. It consists of a group of believers dedicated to Christian education of children in preschool through eighth grade. There is no postsecondary education located in North Judson.
