As there are pros and cons about cell phones, there are causes and effects. They are kind of the same thing when you think about it. Cell phones in the hands of everybody these days can cause personal problems and limit communication skills face to face. Most people would say that cell phones are more beneficial than unbeneficial but when doing the research, cell phones are proved to be more harmful than anything. Cell phones, and any mobile device such as iPods, tablets, and even laptops, can take away from a normal attention span of a human. It is unfortunate that real-life interactions are on the outs as cell phone have become the center of everybody’s attention these days and that most people would rather talk through text message than sit down and talk to someone face to face. But that is what its come down to now. We live in a world where communication through a mobile device is almost required. Rarely do you go anywhere nowadays and not see someone on a cell phone. People talk on their phones in restaurants, they are texting and driving, talking on the phone and driving, even walking and texting. I know that does not seem as severe and dangerous as the others, but there are people whose attention literally goes straight to their phones and they forget where they are for a moment.
