Thesis:
God is all seeing and all knowing, when the community around a church changes we are not called to run away but find a way to share the message of Christ with them. If the church leaves are we sending a message the Jesus only cares for people in the suburbs? In Matthew 4:23-25 And he went throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction among the people. 24 So his fame spread throughout all Syria, and they brought him all the sick, those afflicted with various diseases and pains, those oppressed by demons, those having seizures, and paralytics, and he healed them. 25 And great crowds followed him from Galilee and the Decapolis, and from Jerusalem and Judea, and from beyond the Jordan. We are called to be his disciples why is it so hard to follow His leading and guiding in this area? Jesus commands us to share His word, in Mathew 28:19-20 he says, Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[b] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” He promise to be with us gives, us the comfort in knowing we are not alone.
