While I may share some views with the protesters, I do not think the way they protest is right. They may be right with their views but they make them invalid by threatening people and ultimately take away their right to free speech. I'm willing to bet that all of the protesters despise the KKK and what they did but, they are using the same tactics that the KKK used to try and suppress the rights of minorities. The can be stopped by the exact laws that stopped those they despise. I think it's pretty sad that my generation thinks it's ok to suppress others with violence and disruption. It holds us back and prevents us from changing the country. The opposition looks at the protesters and they lump us all together. They champion civil rights and inclusivity but they look like violent and angry kids who want to stomp on the rights of others to raise their rights up. I'm glad that we have these laws that can hopefully shut down the violence and bring back peaceful discussion. I only worry that if these lawsuits are brought up against the protesters will they become martyrs for their cause and create even more violence and problems. America has had some very violent times where rights were violated, we are now going through that once again and we have to stand strong and stop this problem we have before we lose one of our greatest
