On August 12th white supremacist, Neo-Nazi’s and KKK members marched in Emancipation Park in Charlottesville, Virginia to protest the removal of a Robert E. Lee statue. The protest turned violent afters arguments from the protesters and counter protesters got out of hand. The events that transpired in Charlottesville should not have happened. Events like these continue to show Americans that racism still exist and is an ongoing problem in America.
