Organization A and organization B are two very contrasting companies. One organization is very culturally flexible and the other organization is very culturally rigid. Both of these companies have an organizational culture; however, each companies incorporates the six core characteristics in a different way. After analyzing organization A, this organization utilizes very few of the six core characteristics. Organization A does not utilize interest in new ideas. This organization actually says that creative decisions that incur significant change or risk are not encouraged. This also plays into how Organization A does not have a willingness to take risks. Very few of the six core characteristics are utilized within organization A. Organization A also shows signs of hierarchy culture. The hierarchy culture focuses on stability and control. The hierarchy culture also focuses on formal rules and policies. Organization B is the exact opposite of organization A. These two companies, definitely, could not be more different. I would say that organization B utilizes all six of the six core characteristics of the organizational culture. Organization B has a sensitivity to others. Organization A takes away all of their employees autonomy and at some point, the creatives culture of the company is going to suffocate. Or if not providing more autonomy than incorporating ways to make jobs intrinsically interesting. The cultural environment is not the most upbeat or interesting; however, organization A could provide a work place where the job is more interesting to the people working there. If there was a suggestion that I could give to organization B, I would say that radical innovation would be the way to go. Radical innovation is shocking competitors by making quantum leaps in innovation. Organization B could find this innovation venture successful because this organization already prides itself of regularly introducing innovative products. So why not shock the world and make a radical
