Firstly, I will take more time to reflect on the client’s feelings and validate her about her concerns, without rushing the client or asking lots of questions. I felt that as a SSW in the role-play, I am rushing the client with question without exploring more on the client’s response to the prior questions that was asked. I felt like the SSW tried to solve the client’s problem for her at some point during the interview. I felt like the SSW did not listen actively to the information the client is giving her, and the SSW body language is not genuine enough for the client to build a solid trust. I felt like the SSW did not explore the act of discrimination/prejudices the client have experienced growing up, and the ones she is currently experiencing at the place she lives, and her workplace. I felt like I did not really acknowledge the challenges the clients is facing in her environment, such as her workplace, and her current residence because the client mentioned that she lives in a very small apartment where she has not private space to herself, neither her daughter has hers too. I feel like the SSW did not give enough information about the resources provided to the client that will support her based on the most important issue to the client. Lastly, I will speak louder when next I do an interview because after
