My cross-cultural interview was with friend from Hispanic descent. I had the horn to invite Ms. Tina is a 32 years old single mother of three children; she is citizen of the United State. She Is a mother of three beautiful kids, the first son is 15 years old, the second child she is 12 years old and the last child she is 8 years old they are all American citizen. During the interview I just want to know what she want to be identify with, I know some Hispanic like to be called Latino and some just want to be referred to as Mexican. However, she said she is not Latino but Mexican; she is American citizen (Mexican-American). She is currently working as a language bilingual in one hospital in South Holland. Her name was change due to confidential reason. In this interview she will be name Ms. Tina. I create good relationship with the client, how to interpret and use non-verbal communication and attending behaviors that encourage the client to speak. We talked a bit just get to know her and to let her know she can trust me with any information she do not wants it to be in the recode. I assess my client from diversity perspectives, which arise from differences in race, culture, physical abilities, and heritage and so on. And I also identify her strengths through how she handles the problem; she did not allow frustration to weigh her down. I watched her body language, also pay attention to her body posture, facial expressions, why did the supervisor try to frustrate and harassing her in the present of her client and a signs that she was upset with her supervisor at her working place. I applied attentive listening and show support by maintain eyes contact, I did not interrupt while she was specking, and I nod my head to indicate that I heard what she is saying. I pay attention to what my client did not
