In the fast moving pace of the American economy it is important to have a good foundation to keep your company growing and moving forward. The one key asset a company can have is their employee. In the 21st century there are an endless types of people in the mixing bowl of American culture a successful manager knows how to pull the strengths out of his applicants and employees to great a high performance team. In the past there has been some inequality of both women and minorities. But there have been laws that have passed to ensure that all people of America will receive the rights they deserve. While there are countless benefits for high-performance teams there are many ways to create it. Some of these ways include external vs. internal hiring, diverse work force, obeying laws, creating a detailed job description, and how to conduct a successful interview Although the US is known for the American dream through its past there have been marginalized groups that have not been giving the same opportunity that other have in the job force. To create a high performance team a good manager will look at the whole population and pick the cream of the crop.
