Why Was Barack Obama So Popular

Barack Obama is the current democratic president of the United States today. He was elected the 44th president on November 4, 2008 and won a second term on November 6, 2012. Barack Obama is not only the first African American president, he is also the first president to be born outside of the continental United States (Barack Obama: Life Before the Presidency). He has accomplished a lot throughout his lifetime and still strives to do so at the current age of fifty-four. Barack Obama’s tenure in office was a success. Obama was born on on the 4th of August, 1961 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
