President Barack Obama is a honorable leader because he is insightful. As a former leader of the free world, President Barack Obama stands up for people. He comprehends that the United States can only thrive as a whole when everyone has identical opportunities in healthcare, education and employment. The University of Notre Dame, who are a very credible university, states, leaders must be responsive to the needs of the team. That is precisely what President Obama accomplished in the Oval Office on a day-to-day basis. He acknowledged what he was obligated to do as president and implemented, regardless of how controversial the topic. An additional quality leaders illustrate is the capability to converse and bond with their audience. President Barack Obama is a prodigious speaker. Even those who oppose him identify the fact that he can influence his audience and encourage them to act.

Why? Obama answered, “The criminal justice system is not color blind. It does not work for all people equally, and that is why it’s critical to have a president who sends a signal that we are going to have a system of justice that is not just us, but is everybody. I passed racial profiling legislation at the state level. It requires some political courage, because oftentimes you are accused of being soft on crime (Gramlich).” Obamas answer to this is seen as very courageous because he is so blunt in saying what he know is right. He continues to say that he has passed one hundred and fifty pieces of legislation that toughened penalties for violent criminal, everything from sex offenders to domestic abusers to gang bangers.
