“Dedicated to the development of the complete man, the well-rounded citizen.” This is our mission for the Andreans of St’ Andrews College. To accomplish this, we constantly let the boys engage with the community, faculties, and resources present at SAC. Challenging them academically, athletically, spiritually, and artistically. As being Canada’s Largest All-Boys Boarding School and having teaching boys for more than 116 years, St’ Andrews is committed and driven to teach our students success. Our crepusative ways of teaching include learning within activities, cutting-edge technology, role-playing, and comedy, allowing them to connect and inspire. We consider every moment of a boy’s life as an opportunity to flourish to become the “well-rounded citizen,” and we think that we can achieve this goal by constructing an all-boy school.

With no girls to impress and the encouragement from the faculty, staff, and peers, boys are able to challenge themselves by becoming involved in an abundance of ways, whether it’s inside of SAC or in extra-curricular activities. Without the impress or boyfriend-girlfriend distractions, or uncomfortableness of sharing, debating, or discussing matters of controversy with the other gender, boys are able to try their hardest in academics and sports without getting disturbed. With the devoid of embarrassment when making a mistake or nervousness of the other gender or difference in growing up, not only are boys less shy and more focused in class in a single-gender school, but studies state that in single-male-gender schools, boys are more likely to study, art, music, drama, math, science, and foreign languages.
