Animal Farm was first published on 17 August 1945 and went on to become a world-famous classic that is in English literature courses all around the world. Animal Farm is a novel written by George Orwell but the book is more than simply a beast fable. The book is based on the events of the Bolshevik Revolution and the rise of a communist Russia. George Orwell used animals to display the books reference to Soviet Russia due to Karl Marx (Creator of the communist ideology) 's quote 'The human being is in the most literal sense a political animal, not merely a gregarious animal, but an animal which can individuate itself only in the midst of society ' from his book. Animal Farm Is a very clever political satire and a novel that contains more meaning than meets the eye. Animal Farm contains many symbolic events, characters that play a important role in the book 's political referencing and a plot that displays many truths and historic events.

Animal Farm had a interesting plot that replicated historical events. The main focus of the book 's plot was replicating the Russian/Bolshevik Revolution. This famous revolution involved overthrowing the leaders of the country to allow the Bolsheviks to gain power and enforce the communist beliefs on the citizens of Russia.
