In a dangerous situation, it’s not always a person’s decision to whether they live or not. For example, there are many factors that can increase or decrease the chance of one’s survival. These factors could be from the weather conditions a person is in, or could be a person’s disability to perform an action. If somebody is out at sea like the crew from “The Voyage of the James Caird” and in severe weather conditions, they shouldn’t be blamed for their actions because they have no control over what kinds of environments they may find themselves facing. This is a reason why people shouldn’t be responsible for their actions in a dangerous situation because lowering somebody’s chances of survival and then blaming that person if they die isn’t logical. Furthermore, if a person is stuck in a burning house and can’t walk, you can’t hold that person responsible for their own death because it wasn’t their decision to whether they would survive or not. In addition, mountain climbers who are trapped in an avalanche shouldn’t be blamed for their actions because they didn’t make a bad decision, but instead was the avalanche’s fault for killing
