She turns real depressed and looks for her family and makes contact with them, but then realizes that making contact with the living isn’t helpful. So then, she takes a job as a counselor to deceased dogs, which helps her get better and not feel so depressed This book was entertaining to me because it made me think of what really happens after death even though this is a magic realistic story and may or may not happen. It opened my eyes and made me not be afraid of death. It made be hard to accept at the beginning, but I’ll find peace. At the beginning I thought the author was gonna make Lizzie go back to the living because it wasn’t her time but then I actually like how it ended even though it was sad throughout the end wasn’t …show more content…
The title Elsewhere makes sense with the story because it teaches us who believe it;s heaven, but this story, it might not actually be called heaven or have a name really but it’s elsewhere that is not earth.
