The main character in the book As Dead as it gets is Alexis Warren. Alexis Warren is sixteen years old. She has white hair and blue eyes. She is a high school student at Surrey. Some of her interests and talents are photography.
Alexis is sarcastic and an outcast from other students. Alexis's mom and dad think that she needs to improve and succeed. Alexis also loves photography on film not digital. She stays in her darkroom to escape her pitiful and stressed life while admiring her priceless photography. “Since I was twelve years old, photography has been a part of me-the best part. When everything else in my life was going wrong, I could retreat into my own little universe and see the world as I wanted to see it.”

This story is about importance of friends and doing the right thing because to make things better Alexis needed the help of her friends. Alexis did the right thing by throwing Jared of the canyon because he was getting really annoying.
Opinion
I think that this book was fantastic. It was really interesting and I loved it. There were lots of things that I liked about the book, the part where Elliot is in the forest and Alexis is trying to stop her from walking because she was going to kill herself, that was interesting. The story was not believable because you don’t hear these kind of things. There wasn’t much that I didn’t like about the book. The story wasn’t predictable because it would be a mystery of what would happen
