No wise man ever acquired his wisdom in any mode but this,” (Blake 7). Alcohol is a beverage that when drunk in moderation does not have harmful effects. This is for the average person. Many people are prone to alcoholism and do not realize the negative effects of drinking to extremes. Alcohol consumption should be limited because it has negative effects on people. Excessive alcohol can damage your brain, liver and heart, as well as it contributes to depression and suicide.
Alcohol can affect parts of the brain that control movement, speech, judgements, and memory these effects lead to familiar signs of drunkenness difficulty walking,slurred speech,memory lapses, and impulsive behavior these efforts can make you not being able to move. Long term heavy drinking can shrink the frontal lobes of the brain, which impairs thinking skills with too much alcohol in your body the frontal lobes will not help you to plan things , making decisions , and using self-control people seem to lose control when they consume alcohol too much. Alcohol slows down the cerebral cortex as it works information from a person’s senses.
