Moderate drinkers are twenty-three percent less likely to develop Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Moderate drinking can also add a few years onto one’s life. Drinking less that two to four drinks a day can reduce death by eighteen percent (Bachai). Many adults look at alcohol as a negative subject. Adults link crimes with alcohol, but most crimes associated with alcohol are caused by the overconsumption of alcohol. Heavy drinking is extremely dangerous to one’s mind and body and can cause one to make wrong decisions. In the United States, one must be at least twenty-one years old to be able to consume alcohol.
