In the early 2000s one terrorist group rose above all, Al Qaeda attacked the United States Directly. This changed the face of war on terror forever. We learned, we studied and we mastered Al Qaeda only to put it to an end and terminate the Head of the Serpent. What is Al Qaeda’s current Status? Is Al Qaeda Still operating or in hiding? Was the impact of the death of Osama Bin Laden to much for Al Qaeda to seek Revenge, who is the new Bin Laden? Al Qaeda was a larger terror power and over the years, they have changed. The question is, what changes were made and where are they located? Should we expect Al Qaeda to rise again? Al Qaeda has been around since 1988, Osama Bin Laden and some of his top lieutenants met in a small town in Pakistan and Al Qaeda was born. For years Al Qaeda stayed relatively silent. Then at this time Osama migrated his Headquarters to Sudan, where he forged connections with military personnel across the Middle East and Northern Africa who played a role in numerous of Al Qaeda’s terrorist attacks, including the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center. (Mccormick,1) In February 1998, after being exiled from Sudan, Osama Bin Laden returns to Afghanistan and he issues a fatwa, or a ruling of Islamic law given by a recognized authority against the United States. Later that year, he orders the U.S. Embassy bombings in Kenya and Tanzania, where 224 people were killed. Then terror struck the United States, the Suspected Al Qaeda planned attack on the twin…
