Al-Qaeda Al-Qaeda is a big threat to the United States. When 9/11 occurred it put America in a stage of being scared and worried. Al-Qaeda is an Islamic terrorist group trying to take over and spread throughout the world. Because of the U.S Troops being sent to Saudi Arabia in 1990 trying to take control over the war lords, Osama Bin Laden and his groups ‘’Al-Qaeda” has been mad at America. United States Military are trying their best to keep all of it under control. The military has to put a stop to the plague they are causing! If not, us Americans are going to put the danger in our own hands. Al-Qaeda started in August in the year 1988. The word Al-Qaeda means the base. The person who started it is Osama Bin Laden. Osama Bin Laden is born in 1957. He was a master mind to a lot of terrorist attacks. September 11, 2001 was the biggest terrorist attack on America. It shocked a lot of people. Osama Bin Laden didn’t like the prices on our US goods being sent over to them. Laden wanted America to go bankrupt. US taxes were costing Al-Qaeda’s home country a fortune. In the year of 1990 U.S Troops were order to go to Saudi Arabia and take out Saddam Hussein. Osama didn’t not like that all. Osama planned out to attack the US on February, 26 1993 in New York City at the World Trade Centers. Many more attacks occurred after one on the world trade centers, such as 9/11. He planned attack on the World trade Centers AGAIN! This time with people hijacking planes in America. There were four planes involved with 9/11.
